Twisters offers the follow options for Summer Child Care for grades those going into K-7th from the last day of the 2021-2022 school year to the first day of the 2022-2023 school year. Dates will be provided once released by the school districts.
Full-Day, Full-Summer Camp: Camp opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. Parents may drop off or pick up their children any time within those hours. This camp options requires full payment prior to May 15, 2021 and is non-refundable. This camp option is $1,175 and includes all age-appropriate specialty camps and one tumbling class per child. For those choosing to pay weekly, the cost is $115/week.
Half-Day, Full-Summer Camp: Options include 6 a.m. to noon or noon to 6 p.m. Parents may drop off or pick up their child any time within the morning or afternoon session. Lunch is available for half-day students, but prior notice is helpful. This option is $750 for the summer and is non-refundable. For those choosing to pay weekly, the cost is $75/week.
Drop-In Day Camp: Drop in options are available pending availability at $30/day or $20/half-day. A 24-hour advance notice and payment is required. A medical form and waiver on file is required.
Dates: Summer day camp will run from the last day of the 2021-2022 school year to the first day of the 2022-2023 school year. Official dates will be released when the district releases them.

6-8:30 a.m. Quiet time, games, coloring and movie
8:30-10:15 a.m. Outdoor play
10:15-10:30 a.m. Restroom break and wash hands
10:30-11 a.m. Rest and relax. Snack bar open.
11-12 p.m. Open Gym
12-1 p.m. Lunch and quiet time
1-3:15 p.m. Stations and learning activities
3:15-3:30 p.m. Restroom break and wash hands
3:30-4 p.m. Snack
4-6 p.m. Indoor play, quiet times, games, coloring and movie
Available in 2022:
Field Trips: All activities will take place at Twisters or within the surrounding community. Any activities that are off-property will require a permission slip. A few field trips will be taken throughout the summer and transportation will be provided by Twisters. These field trips will cost up to $6. For those choosing to not participate, alternative programming will be available at Twisters.
Meals: Unfortunately this summer the Warrensburg R6 School District will be unable to provide meals to Twisters. As a results, students may bring their own lunch or purchase a bag lunch for $2 each day. A bag lunch will include a sandwich, fruit or vegetable, chips and a drink. Meal punch passes will be available for purchase.
