I, the undersigned participant/parent of the participant, recognize and acknowledge that activities at Central Missouri Twisters, LLC (d.b.a. Twister Sports), which include the indoor batting cages, located at 240 NW 13 Hwy, Warrensburg, MO, involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability or death, which might result from participant action, inaction, negligence of others, rules of play or the condition of the premises or any equipment used thereon. Further, I understand that there may be other risks not known or feasibly foreseeable at this time and that such risks shall be assumed by the undersigned. In my absence, I authorize the front desk of Twister Sports to call for emergency rescue services for the above participant should they be necessary in the case of injury or suspected injury, or during the times that the above named individual is participating in an activity at Twister Sports. I authorize the attending physician at the hospital to administer necessary emergency medical care to the above individual upon arrival at the hospital. I will accept responsibility for the payment of any and all treatment provided therein including emergency rescue services.
I understand that sports and physical activities are strenuous and carry the inherent risk of injury. By participating or authorizing participation, I am taking responsibility for assuring that the participant named herein is capable of such activity and medically fit to participate.
I certify that the above named is capable of participating safely in the activities at Twister Sports. I understand that the owners of Twister Sports do not provide accident, health or life insurance coverage for the above named participant during program participation. I further understand that I am legally responsible for actions of the above named individual including, but not limited to, any damage, or injury which may result from me or my child’s participation in activities at Twister Sports. This release of liability and indemnity applies equally to losses, damages, or injuries caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the owners, employees or agents of Twister Sports. I further agree to release, waive and discharge, and covenant not to sue the Twister Sports or its owners, agents and employees for any claims, demands, or actions whatsoever arising out of any damage, loss or injury incurred on or to me or my child as a result of my participation or my child’s in activities at Twister Sports. This release of liability and indemnity applies to me, the undersigned, or my child, as well as any personal representatives, assigns, heirs, next of kin, representatives, insurers or any other claiming by or through me.
In consideration of use of Twister Sports facilities and equipment, the undersigned releases for themselves, their insurers, agents and all persons claiming through them, and discharges Twister Sports, its agents, insurers, and any other person from all claims, demands, debts, executions, actions, or causes of action arising from or growing in any way out of any injury to person or property which may hereafter result from the services or products provided by Twister Sports.

* How to enter cage making sure helmet is on, light is off and safety cover is down.
* Show how to open and secure the safety cover
* Show how to turn the machine on for active batting
* Turn the machine off and inform patron the machine may continue to cycle before turning off
* Go through the refill procedures
* Lastly, when time is up, all balls need to be returned to the hopper using proper refill procedures
BATTING CAGE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The following rules and regulations have been established as minimum requirements for batting cage operations:
BATTING CAGE OPERATIONS
First-time users will receive a brief equipment orientation by a trained employee.
Patrons are required to wear batting helmets. The helmet must be put on prior to entering the cage. If you do not have a helmet, one can be signed out at the front desk.
Hitters must stand in the batting box during active batting.
Occupancy is limited to one (1) person per cage.
Spectators should stand or sit in the outlined spectator area a minimum of 6 feet away from nets.
Patrons are not allowed to alter settings on the pitching machines. Any adjustments must be made by an employee of Twister Sports.
Patrons younger than 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (present, but NOT inside the cage).
Patrons should watch several pitches prior to hitting.
The only people allowed to swing bats are those in the cages.
Follow posted directions for refilling machines.
Patrons must be 15 years or older to feed the pitching machine.
Closed-toe shoes required. No cleats.
No live pitching is allowed when a batter is present.
Fee must be paid and waiver must be signed prior to entering the cage area.
FAST PITCH BATTING CAGE OPERATIONS
Maximum ball speed of any machine must not exceed 80 MPH.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed access to the cages with ball speeds over 65 MPH.
