Twister Sports Manager Takes the Leap Into Ownership

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Twister Sports is pleased to announce the addition of a new owner to the team. Melanie Wilmoth, longtime general manager for the gym, has recently joined the team as an owner of Twister Sports. Melanie started her career as a part-time front desk associate at Twisters in July 2014. Over the years, she was promoted to Front Desk Manager, Manager of the Sedalia location (2015-2017) and eventually the general manager of Twisters in 2017. Melanie has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Central Missouri. The original four owners will remain on the team as well. “In the last 10 years, Melanie has worked hard to provide a friendly, welcoming environment for the families here at Twisters and has helped grow this small, locally owned business into what it is today. We couldn’t have done it without her, and she deserves so much of the credit for the growth of Twisters,” said Danielle Johnston, Twister Sports Owner.
