Twisters Cheer & Dance provides a great opportunity for kids to make friends, have fun and get fit all at the same time. These activities are excellent for building your child’s creativity and helping them socialize safely. We’ll embrace each individual personality while teaching them fun new cheer and dance skills.
Fall Session: Sept. 1-Oct. 27, 2021
RECREATIONAL CHEERLEADING
Join us for this fun 9-week session, Sept. 1-Oct. 27, 2021 where you learn to cheer! We’ll teach a sideline chants and halftime cheers as well as stunting, basic cheer motions, and jumps.
Ages:Â 5-12 years
Class:Â Wednesdays, 5:15-6 p.m.
Athletes who do not have a black Twisters t-shirt and bow from previous sessions will need to purchase the t-shirt and bow cheer-pack for the performance.
What to Expect:
- Learn basic cheer terms
- Learn how to do cheer stunts, jumps, & arm motions
- Learn sideline chants and halftime cheers
- Cheer at local community events and sports games
Session Cost: $99 (+$30 if bow/shirt needed)
PRESCHOOL COMBO DANCE
This session will not only be a ton of fun for your kids, but it will teach them fundamental dance skills! We will learn tap, ballet and jazz as well as a short routine. Join Twisters Sept. 1-Oct. 27, 2021 where we’ll learn the foundations of tap, ballet and jazz.
Ages:Â 2-5 years
Class:Â Wednesdays, 5:15-6 p.m.
A costume fee of $60 is assessed to dancers for this session who did not do the previous session. We will be using this same costume for the remaining session through 2021. Twisters will host an in-house performance Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
What to Expect:
- Basic dance terminology used in tap and ballet
- Creative dance warm ups and skill-based games
- In-house performance of tap & ballet routines
